Health and safety policy

The health and safety commitments of SiteSafe Solution. This statement covers our own people and everyone affected by the work we do with clients.

1. Our commitment

SiteSafe Solution is committed to preventing injury and ill health, to complying with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all other applicable legislation, and to the continual improvement of health and safety performance in everything we do.

As a health and safety consultancy, we hold ourselves to the standards we advise our clients to meet.

2. What this means in practice

  • We plan our own work, including site visits and inspections, so that it is carried out safely and without risk to our people, our clients' staff or the public.
  • We follow the site rules, induction requirements and permit systems of every client site we attend.
  • We use competent people for all work we undertake and maintain the qualifications behind our advice.
  • We give honest, proportionate advice. If something is unsafe, we say so, even when it is not what a client hoped to hear.
  • We report and learn from any incident, near miss or concern connected with our work.

3. Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for health and safety rests with the owner of SiteSafe Solution. Every person working with or for us is responsible for taking reasonable care of themselves and others affected by their work, and for raising concerns promptly.

4. Review

This policy is reviewed at least annually, and sooner if our work, the law or our organisation changes in a way that affects it.

Questions about this policy can be sent to Nedim@sitesafesolution.co.uk.
