Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website. This statement explains what we've done, what we know needs work, and how to tell us about a problem.
1. Our commitment
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. Accessibility is considered whenever we add or change pages.
2. What we've done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure on every page.
- A "skip to content" link for keyboard users.
- Visible focus outlines on all interactive elements.
- Form fields with proper labels, and errors reported by the browser's native validation.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text colours chosen for contrast against their backgrounds.
- A responsive layout that works with zoom up to 200% and on small screens.
3. Known limitations
- Some decorative background effects (gradients and floating shapes) are purely visual; they carry no information and are hidden from screen readers.
- The enquiry form opens your email or WhatsApp app to send; if you cannot use either, email us directly and we'll take your enquiry in whatever format works for you.
4. Tell us about a problem
If any part of this website is difficult to use with your device, browser or assistive technology, please email Nedim@sitesafesolution.co.uk. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the technology you were using. We'll do our best to fix the issue and to give you the information you needed in an accessible format in the meantime.
5. Review
This statement is reviewed whenever the website changes significantly.
